Quick! Pass me the white out!

It seems the reaction to this article in Monday's edition of Quick, the Dallas Morning News publication designed for those who don't read real newspapers, has been somewhat hostile, as well as it should be. I'm a pretty tolerant guy, but even I found this tasteless and, as a former Morning News editor, I can't understand how anyone could have let the story find its way into mainsteam print. There's a place for this kind of writing, but Quick isn't it.
