Tuesday Observations

1. The thought of driving to work Thursday morning in a snowstorm fills me with dread. Dallas drivers are wacky enough already, but bad road conditions seems to really attract the crazies.

2. Oh, how the mighty, the revered, can fall so quickly. First it was Tiger Woods and now it's Toyota. You think Tiger should be the new spokesperson .... ? Naaah.

3. It seems almost certain that there will be a runoff following the Republican gubernatorial primary. But there's a growing feeling that the runoff actually may be between Gov. Hair and Medina -- that this upstart Wharton County GOP chair could actually poll more votes than Sen. Hutch. Now, wouldn't that be crazy.

If I wanted this I would live in California. At least that state has an entertaining governor and doesn't stick high speed roads through its parks.
