You call this a budget?

The above picture, I'm guessing, is supposed to depict President Bush holding a copy of the budget he is sending to Congress--a $3 trillion budget. It looks kinda puny to me. If anyone has ever seen a copy of the City of Dallas' annual budget, and I have seen my share, it looks like a pair of Manhattan telephone directories and is nowhere near $3 trillion, at least not yet. C'mon, for $3 trillion, I want to see something far more substantial than what is pictured here.

Update: I'm going to cut the Prez a whole lotta slack here because I have subsequently learned that what he is holding is not the budget, per se, but a laptop containing the budget. Neat, eh?
