The Shamefully Neglected Angel

I'm not buying this load of crap the producers of the Oscar awards show is selling about why Farrah Fawcett was nowhere to be found during the "in-memoriam" section of the show. Their lame excuse is that Fawcett was more of a television star than a motion picture star. That's true, but that's not a reason, it's an excuse. The simple fact is the producers blew it. Big, big time.

How in their right mind could these clowns fail to include Farrah, yet include Michael Jackson? Who considers him a movie star more than anything else? And if that reasoning was accurate, then how do these jerks explain why past tributes included David Janssen, George Reeve and even Milton "Mr. Television" Berle?

I'd be willing to bet that James "Bret Maverick/Jim Rockford" Garner will be included in a future Oscar salute of this type.

The Oscar show producers should just pull a Mark McGuire, admit they made a bad mistake, apologize to Fawcett's family and promise to be more vigilant and considerate in the future.
