As much as I respect Tim Cowlshaw of the Dallas Morning News, I just don't see the Spurs-Mavericks NBA playoff series going the full seven games as he predicts. I see the Mavs being able to take San Antonio in five games. But that's as far as I'm willing to go with the locals because in the next round they'll have to face the winner of the Phoenix-Portland series, which undoubtedly will be Phoenix.
I do agree with Cowlshaw when he writes that no one gives a hoot about the Eastern Conference playoffs until Cleveland plays Orlando in the finals.
But here's my upset special: In the NBA finals, Phoenix will take out Orlando in six.
