In this op-ed column in today's New York Times, Paul Krugman takes the McCain-Palin campaign to task for some of its tactics. His conclusion is thus:
"...the Obama campaign is wrong to suggest that a McCain-Palin administration would just be a continuation of Bush-Chaney. If the way John McCain and Sarah Palin are campaigning is any indication, it would be much, much worse."
Among the black deeds Krugman cites the McCain-Palin campaign for are claiming she was against the so-called Bridge to Nowhere when she actually was for it at the beginning and, then, when Congress killed it, she spent the money designated for it on something else. Krugam also blasts McCain for saying Obama advocates sex education in kindergarten when what he really did was support legislation advocating "age and developmentally appropriate education" that would help young children avoid sexual predators.
By the way, if you want to check out the veracity of campaign claims independently, here's a pretty good Web site for that call. Here's another one.
