Missouri QB current Heisman favorite
Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel, a product of Southlake Carroll High School, is the leading vote getter in a poll of Heisman voters conducted by the Orlando Sentinel, comfortably ahead of USC quarterback Mark Sanchez. Last year's winner, Florida quarterback Tim Tebow is third and Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford is fourth. Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford of Highland Park didn't make the list, but his teammate, running back Kowshon Moreno, was sixth. Other Big 12 players named were Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree (7th) and Missouri wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (tied for 8th).
