"Let Me In" has the right look

Let the Right One In is my all-time favorite vampire movie. The Swedish film is being re-made as Let Me In. Normally, the thought of a foreign film that I loved being re-made as an American production fills me with dread, but judging from this trailer, at least the filmmakers seem to have correctly adapted the look of the original, which is a good sign. The remake features Kodi Smit-McPhee, the kid from The Road, playing the youngster in the apartment complex who falls for a just-moved-in neighbor girl who has been 13 "for a very long time." The remake is set in 1983 in Albuquerque, N.M.
