According to this story in the Los Angeles Times, the city of Seattle is considering whether to declare this boarded-up, graffiti-marked building that used to house a Denny's restaurant a historic landmark. I am not going to go into the reasons why. If you want to know, you can read the entire story for yourself. I just wanted to highlight a quote from the story that was attributed to a Louie Richmond, identified as a spokesperson for the Rhapsody Partners development company: "I pass the building every day, and I think it's ugly and depressing. But we understand art is very subjective. Some people think Barry Manilow is a great artist."
