Does this woman remind you of, say, a Secretary of State?

HBO sure hopes so because it has cast Hope Davis as Hillary Clinton in The Special Relationship, which will be about the friendship between President Bill Clinton (Dennis Quaid) and British Prime Minister Tony Blair To(Michael Sheen, once again). The film is also supposed to deal with what was said between the Clintons during the Monica Lewinsky business.

Frankly, I think the choice of Ms. Davis is better than the actress originally signed for the role, Julianne Moore, who had to bow out because of a scheduling conflict. I have the utmost respect for Ms. Moore, but I just think Ms. Davis is better suited.
