It's amazing what dying can do for your image

I know I'm going to criticized for speaking ill of the dead, especially this one particular dead person, but there you have it.

A month ago, if I mentioned the name Michael Jackson, admit it, these are the images the name would have conjured up:

• Probable child molester
• A plastic surgery addict
• A black man who wanted to be white
• "Wacko Jacko"

Today, here's what we're being told Michael Jackson was:

• A civil rights leader
• A philanthropist
• A humanitarian
• A saint
