Poll: 10 Best Picture possibilities

Maybe it's just because the Motion Picture Academy decided to double the number of best picture nominees for next summer or maybe because there really hasn't been much going on to blog about, especially if one is not all that choked up over the death of a popular pedophile. Whatever the reason Awards Daily is conducting a public opinion poll on what films will be the likely best picture nominees. The top 10 finishers are:

1. Up

2. Nine

3. The Lovely Bones

4. Shutter Island

5. The Hurt Locker

6. Avatar

7. Precious

8. Invictus (I thought this would finish a lot higher)

9. The Road

10. Public Enemies (which will probably fall out of the top 10 as polling continues. It's this high now because it, along with Up, are the only two films to have received a wide release).
