A Mavericks trade that makes sense for all three teams involved
I'm not going to spoil the anonymity of the basketball genius who came up with the idea, except to say he is closely related to me, but here is the deal: trade Jerry Stackhouse's expiring contract to Utah for Carlos Boozer, then turn right around and trade Boozer to Detroit for Rip Hamilton. Makes perfect sense to me and, as "the basketball genius" said to me, it makes all three teams happy. What more could you ask for?
