The first time Glenn Beck asked the question he claimed he had received a lot of reports claiming she was a truther. She replied something to the effect that a lot of folks have attacked for all kinds of things "but that's the first time I've heard that one."
Fine. But Beck didn't let it stop there. He asked again if she thought the American government was involved in the attacks. To that, she said:
"I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So I haven't taken a position on that."
Wow! She later tried to recant the whole thing on her Web site, but the damage had already been done.
The question remains, however, was Medina set up. There are those who think Gov. Hair was behind the entire thing. I don't know. I wouldn't put it passed him. The guy certainly knows how to fight dirty but that means his handlers had to have become seriously concerned about the momentum Medina was building. One thing's for sure: He iwasted absolutely no time in pouncing on her mistake.
That Medina momentum is all gone now and I'm betting Hair can now coast to the nomination now that Medina is toast and Sen. Hutch continues to run one of the worst, if not the worst, statewide campaign in Texas' history.

Really? The momentum is gone? How do you know?
