Debra Medina is gaining support in the Republican gubernatorial primary and all that gain is coming at the expense of Sen. Hutch. According to a poll conducted Monday, Gov. Hair is holding steady with 44 percent of voters who say they’re likely to vote in the March 2 primary. Hutch collected only 29 percent and Medina 16 percent. A similar poll conducted two weeks earlier had Hutch with 33 percent and Medina 12. You can see where this is going.
To make matters worse for Hutch, this came during a time when she spent $3.4 million while Hair spent $1.9. Her comparatively expensive television advertisement campaign doesn't seem to be working.
