Man, I hate to see this
What's the worst possible outcome of a college football game? When it's decided by a blown call by the officials. And that's exactly what happened in the Washington-BYU game. The Huskies drove 76 yards in 17 plays and Jake Locker scored from the 2-yard line with two seconds on the clock to pull Washington to within a point, 28-27. His teammates gathered around him in the end zone, jumping up and down, and the officials incorrectly threw a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct. C'mon. That conduct was as sportsmanlike as anything you'll see on a football field this year. No Washington players came off the bench to join in the celebration, which is usually the standard for calling that penalty. The referees penalized Washington 15 years on the PAT, which was then blocked.
