If I was still an editor at the Dallas Morning News, I might have changed the word "unrelated" to "another" in the second paragraph of this story.
"A 28-year-old Garland man was killed early today in Dallas when his motorcycle slammed into a one-way sign on Northwest Highway near Jupiter Road, police said.
"Another motorcyclist was killed in an unrelated accident in Arlington."
Maybe it's because I'm not a conspiracy nut, but I am going to assume these two events, happening 30 miles apart, are not a part of a suicide pact signed by two motorcyclists.
