"Body" Bust

Ridley Scott's "Body of Lies" looks to continue the string of Iraq-themed movies that are box-office busts. It's opening weekend box office gross of $12.5 million is about $2.5 million below expectations. At best, the film will gross in the high $30 million range when its theatrical run ends. I'm figuring production and marketing costs probably amounted to around $200 million. OK, its foreign release and DVD will help a little, but this looks like another major financial dud.
