Bad news on the baseball front

Viewership of the baseball playoffs was down 22 percent over what it was last year and with both Chicago teams and the Los Angeles Angels already eliminated, it doesn't look promising for the championship round. A lot of folks are blaming it on the New York factor: This is the first time in 13 years a New York team has not been involved in the playoffs. According to Variety, TV execs are praying for a Dodgers-Red Sox World Series.
