"W" is ready
I heard that Oliver Stone's "W" is finally ready and will be screened for select media tomorrow in advance of a major junket scheduled for later this week. I've also heard that the film will be recognized and talked about more for its performances than for its storyline, which primarily explores the relationship between George W. and his father. And, finally, I've heard (but don't hold me to this) the film ends in an imagined scene in which President Bush I goes over the top in a tirade leveled at his son, saying something to the effect that, thanks to George W., no one named Bush will ever be elected President again.
