You think Dallas has budget problems
Wait until you read what's happening in Alabama's most populous county, where it appears two-thirds of the county employees -- up to 1,4000 people -- will loose their jobs today. Why? Same old story: declining sales taxes, declining property taxes. Only in Jefferson County, the problem seems to be exacerbated by a crooked sewer deal, an illegal tax and a do-nothing state legislature. Roll Tide.
